With old traditions of a simple church ceremony seeming less and less the way to celebrate the day every year; we took to Middlewood to take part in the 'It's a Knockout' competition. Open to the whole district and involving, all ages of teh movement the day was once again a hit. This year the theme seemed to be how muddy can you get? 

The rest of the district seemed to leave this year a little happier as the 43rd hadn't won- the district explorers had. What they failed to notice was that the majority of these explorers were born and bred 43rd-ers!
