Day 2

Low Wray - Langdale

Another beautiful day in paradise. Had a lazy morning, got up at 10 past something (set off at 12). The weather is sunny and warm.

Breakfast consisted of dry cereal, mars bars and bacon which didn't seem cooked to me and three rounds of bread between us. One tent is down and the campsites allmost clean one more tent to go down then we can set off.

2 hours to Skellwith Bridge, Jill aint here? on our journey on a country road we bumped into Doris and Arthur of Kendle who stopped for tea at the road side- how stupid!

Not long after leaving site we encountered a hilly field field with a bull??? Must have been hidden in the trees! but an enjoyable walk.

Sat waiting for Jill and a familly are sat having a picnic just as though to rub it in! but the young girl with them has the most enormaous nose I've ever seen, so she can keep her picnic!

Just waiting for Jill, Tom manages to get a breif conversation but signal is weak.

(9:40pm)

Just been to the pub after tea for a chat and some chips.

£2.30 for a plate of chips!!!!!!

Around 3 hours from Skellwith bridge to the camp site. Steve wasn't impressed as it was supposed to take us that to do the whole day.

which was way too slow apperntly. i thought it wasn't too bad but hey?

My first day was very good, glorious sunshine all day, nice walk and looking forward to tommorrow. Now we changed our route.

Night night- asa out

asa and Tom have ruined many-a-song through the day, especially Hakuna Matata. They only knew the first verse and kept singing it over and over again...

But at least they sung in tune!!!!

As we walked on lots of people began to applaud them but me and Mike said they shouldn't appluad them as they only know one song!

Quotes of the day:

'you don't see slate like that everyday!' - Dan Protano

'AWWWWWWWWWWWW look at the ickle lambs' Pikey

Until Tommorrow...
